Course Description:
This is a basic, introductory Economics class designed to be of practical use to the average High School Senior. There is theory to be studied which will help the student understand economic concepts and then apply them to their own particular reality.
The major headings of each Module of the course are...
* Economic Organization
* Organiztion of Production & Business
* Human Resource
* Consumption
* Financial Institutions & Money
Within these main headings the student will research the value of how Economics relates to psychology of human behavior, business models, the workforce, pay equity, advertising, consuming, credit, budgetting, banking and rudimentary investing
*** note-taking is mandatory (except for the last chapter)... your notes are allowed to be used as a cheat sheet during your major module tests...make sure you keep good, clear notes
Evaluation:
This is not a provincial exam course. It is an option. The 3 Terms are of equal value to your year end result. There is no year-end final. Each term will consist of...
